Kea Kaleidoscope is a fresh, kooky neo soulish band, currently based in Helsinki, Finland.
The band approached me in 2016 to create an illustration and poster for their first gig in Kuopio. The response to the poster was so positive (people were er…borrowing them?) that I was commissioned to create several variations of the original over the coming years.
The original design was cropped a lot closer in on the lead singer’s portrait however this did not much leave much room for the actual gig information plus the original logotype was in to close a proximity to the illustration.

In 2016 I was engaged as Art Director for two years on a joint project between XAMK and HUMAK; Helsinki University of Applied Sciences, VIPARO; Finnish translation services for the deaf and ANAD, the Albanian National Society for the Deaf on designing a signed news service for the illiterate deaf in Albania. The twig brand was developed by myself and Vas Zayarskiy, a student on the International Degree in Design at KYAMK in 2011.
Post the brand identity being approved, I was responsible for implementing all the required print collateral; posters, signage, Banner flags, packaging solutions & advertising, while Vas dealt with the company’s digital presence, building the twig website.
Post launch in 2012 twig continues to be the dominant brand in its local market and has garnered favourable responses from trade press and other design agencies.
